Screen Actors Guild Awards have officially been delayed because of coronavirus. The glamourous awards night which is usually full of A-list celebrities will no longer take place on its original date of 24 January, 2021.Instead it’s been pushed back to Sunday 14 March, as a result of the disease. The hope is that it will be safe to gather in crowds by then. It’s not the only awards ceremony date that’s been changed. The upcoming 93rd Academy Awards night was due to fall sometime between January and February of next year. But the bash has been booked in for Sunday, 25 April instead. It means eligibility requirements for the awards have been extended by two months. It feels like a lifetime ago that we enjoyed 2020’s SAG awards back in January. So much.
