Ryanair passenger blocked from boarding flight to London for 'not wearing face mask'

A Ryanair passenger claims he has been prevented from boarding a flight for not wearing a face mask. James Higgins was at a final check-in for a London-bound flight from Dublin, Ireland, yesterday when he says he was refused entry at the boarding gate.

In a video he shared on Twitter, James asks a member of staff by the counter: "I can't get on the flight, can I? "So you just told me I can't get on the plane, right?" A female staff wearing a face mask and a high-vis jacket refuses to answer his question.

She is heard saying: "Sorry sir. Airport police, please remove him from the airport." James explains in the video: "So I'm now getting removed from the airport, just because I haven't got a mask to wear on the plane." Ryanair clearly
