Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Strictly Come Dancing came to an end due to ill health, two years after he underwent heart surgery.The 49-year-old had kept a low profile since his departure, but tonight gave fans an update about his health and career.

The 49-year-old actor spoke out after the BBC made an announcement about his upcoming show The Seven Ages Of Christmas on Radio 3.Robert said the show was “a more relaxing kind of challenge” compared to his Strictly stint."It was a total joy and it’s on Radio 3, Christmas Eve," he commented."And may I take this low-key middle-of-afternoon nobody’s interested opportunity to say that I’m much better, thanks.
