A restaurant boss has claimed Rita Ora's team offered him £5000 to break Covid rules and host her 30th birthday party, police revealed.
A CCTV blackout was enforced at Casa Cruz in London’s Notting Hill while Rita's celebrity friends made their entrances back in November.
Venue boss Scottie Bhattarai told police he was offered the money to host “drinks and nibbles” for the singer but said no payment was made at the time.
Bhattarai said the original plan was to have seven people attend but almost 20 turned up by 9pm. The details emerged in a licence review for the restaurant which is due to be heard today.
