The Health Information and Quality Authority has said there are many differences between countries on the measures taken to limit the spread of Covid-19.
In a review of 18 countries, it said that the more prominent differences between countries include how movement is restricted, for example, curfew hours and travelling distances permitted; numbers permitted at gatherings, events, religious services and sporting activities; and the operating hours of businesses allowed to open within the hospitality sector.
It says that in Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Israel and Switzerland testing is provided for anyone that requests a test, irrespective of the presence of symptoms.
