Revellers heading out in Manchester this evening will be asked to show their digital Covid pass as the requirement comes into force.

Yesterday, MPs from across the country voted in favour of the NHS Covid passes being used - meaning all those looking to enjoy a night out will have to prove they are double vaccinated.

Either that or they must show evidence of a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of arriving at the venue. Despite being a quiet mid-week evening in the city, with most nightclubs closed until the weekend, one venue was attracting a huge crowd, dressed head to toe in suits and sparkly dresses.
