Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.A West Lothian care home that recorded 17 Covid-19 related deaths has been graded as adequate in the latest report.The Care Inspectorate visited Redmill Nursing Home in East Whitburn and released their Covid-19 inspection report on February 9.They carried out the unannounced inspection on January 21 and said in recent months there had been “improvement in how people were cared for and protected.”After a Covid-19 outbreak last year, 17 people died at the care facility and they were then rated as ‘weak’ in all areas by the Care Inspectorate.However, they have worked hard in recent months and moved up a grading to ‘adequate’ after the most recent.
