Randy Newman, the Oscar-winning songwriter, has shared a very timely song with the world called “Stay Here”.
The song urges citizens to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic. “I’ve been asked by KPCC [a public radio talk station in Pasadena] to say some words about social distancing, because of my scientific background,” Randy shared in the video.
He adds, jokingly that “apparently there’s some disease that’s going around. Stay six feet away from people, wash your hands religiously and often, and don’t touch your face.” After performing the song in the clip, Randy adds some well wishes to his fans. “I wish everyone well, and wish myself well, to some extent,” he says. “Stay safe.
