The Queen Consort has been forced to pull out of Royal engagements after coming down with Covid, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
On Monday, it was revealed that Camilla pulled out of events because of a "seasonal illness", which has now been revealed as covid.
A statement from Buckingham Palace Read: "After suffering the symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the Covid virus. "With regret, she has therefore cancelled all her public engagements for this week and sends her sincere apologies to those who had been due to attend them." The 75 year old Royal was set for numerous engagements in the coming days, including a celebration of Elmhurst Ballet School and visiting Southwater One Library in Telford.
King Charles' wife was also set to unveil a stone for Telford Veterans’ Trail, as well as a plaque to commemorate the visit during the Valentine's Day trip on 14 February.
