Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for coronavirus and is "experiencing mild cold symptoms", Buckingham Palace have confirmed.The monarch, 95, is expected to continue to undertake "light duties", palace officials say.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "Buckingham Palace confirm that The Queen has today tested positive for Covid. "Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week. "She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines." Her Majesty was being closely monitored after Prince Charles had caught the virus just days after pair had been in close contact earlier this month.
