Pupils spending final days of summer term isolating amid Covid cases in schools

With schools reporting numbers of positive cases not seen since the autumn peak, many youngsters are being sent home for what's left of the academic year.

Some won't return until September now, while others will be back in for just a few days before breaking up for the holidays.
