WILDWOOD CREST, N.J. - A Pennsylvania man died after he was pulled from the water off the coast of Wildwood on Tuesday, according to authorities. The Wildwood Crest Police Department said the victim, 54-year-old Joel Green, was brought onto the beach near Syracuse Street by swimmers who noticed him unresponsive in the water. Authorities say a beach goer provided CPR until emergency crews responded and continued life-saving measures. Green, a Cambria County resident, was brought to Cape Regional Medical Center where he died.Authorities extended their condolences to Green's family and reminded swimmers to only use beaches with lifeguards on patrol.

WASHINGTON - More than 82 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have reportedly gone to waste since the beginning of the pandemic, according to media reports. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shared the data with NBC News, meaning that just over 11% of doses the federal government distributed between December 202 through mid-May were discarded. That's nearly 20 million more doses wasted than the 65 million The Associated Press reported wasted in February. CVS and Walmart were responsible for the largest amount – over a quarter – of doses thrown away during the 1.5-year time period. RUTLEDGE, Tenn. - A United Methodist Church pastor is suing her church after some members accused her of practicing homosexuality, saying the accusations interfered with her pastoral duties and she may be unemployed.An attorney for Reverend Bodhi Der Parunakian said a lawsuit was filed in Grainger County Circuit Court in Tennessee last week.  According to court documents obtained by FOX Television Stations, Der Parunakian is the pastor at Shiloh, Joppa and Cedar Grove United Methodist Churches.The pastor said she identified her homosexuality when she was hired by the United Methodist Church but chose the life of celibacy according to the church's "Book of Discipline" which states "the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with the Christian teaching."
