Vaccinating key worker vaccines would "speed up the return to normal" as jabs have been shown to cut transmission, according to one expert.
Andrew Lee, expert in Global Public Health at University of Sheffield said while there is "no zero-risk solution" in our efforts to return to normality, the current plan was a "fairly measured approach".
Mr Lee said while lifting restrictions will increase infection risks, the vaccine programme was a "key countermeasure".
