Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have been given the Coronavirus vaccine, Clarence House has confirmed to the BBC.

The 72-year-old royal and his wife, 73, are in the over 70 year old age bracket to qualify them to be vaccinated. So far in the UK, 12.6 million people in the UK have actually received at least one of the two doses of the vaccine.

Right now, the vaccines that are approved require two doses to become fully vaccinated against the original strain of COVID-19. Prince Charles had Coronavirus back in March of 2020.

It’s unclear exactly when he received the vaccine, but as of mid-December, the royal couple had still not received doses of the highly sought after shot.
