Government officials have again asked Premier League players to curb their celebrations to limit social contact. A recent rise in coronavirus cases has again tested the country's resources and resulted in a third lockdown.
Elite sport though has been allowed to continue, but greater responsibilities have been placed upon it. Even clubs have seen a spike in cases that has meant games have been postponed, some at the eleventh hour.
