Premier League, EFL and FA release joint statement addressing future of football amid COVID-19 concerns

With the UK in a national lockdown to control the virus, there have been concerns that English football could be suspended, just as it was for a three-month spell during the 2019/20 campaign.

However, after talks this week, The Premier League, FA and EFL have all reiterated their belief that stringent measures will prevent such drastic measures being necessary, whilst maintaining the safety of all players and staff.
