It comes as the latest easing of lockdown restrictions began on Monday (April 12). Hospitality venues can now open outside, non-essential shops, gyms, and hairdressers and barbers are also allowed to reopen.
Thousands of Mancunians have since flocked to local beer gardens, or the streets of the Northern Quarter, which have been transformed into pedestrianised drinking areas.
So far, the week seems to have passed without any major incidents, with police actually seeing a fall in the number of Covid breaches being reported.
