BOULDER, Colo. - Police carried a battering ram into an apartment complex last month, but officers weren’t there to break down any doors.They needed it to pry open two bars a toddler had gotten her head stuck between.

CLAYTON, Del. - A Delaware man is in custody after police say an argument led to him shooting a woman in the face Friday night. The incident happened at approximately 9:48 p.m. when police were called to the 3900 block of Wheatleys Pond Road for a shooting incident. During an investigation, troopers made contact with the 33-year-old female victim who had an apparent gunshot wound to the face.

NICETOWN-TIOGA - An officer was hurt and a woman was badly injured when a car slammed into a police cruiser and hit a pedestrian Friday night in Nicetown-Tioga. Investigators said a police cruiser was pulling out of the 39 District headquarters on the 2200 block of West Hunting Park Avenue when a green Ford Crown Victoria slammed into the patrol car then hit a 58-year-old woman. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESThe officer was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for and is expected to be treated and released, police said. Emergency medical responders drove the woman to Temple University Hospital where she was placed in critical condition, according to police. The driver of the Ford was not injured.___DOWNLOAD: FOX 29 NEWS APP | FOX 29 WEATHER
