BROWNS MILLS, N.J. - Authorities say a young man was killed and another driver was seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Burlington County.Emergency responders were called to the area of State Route 70 and Spring Lake Boulevard in Browns Mills just before 7 a.m. for reports of a serious crash. Authorities say five cars were involved in the crash, including a Chevy Trail Blazer driven by 28-year-old William Benner Jr.

FOX NEWS - A massive great white shark stalking the East Coast was spotted near the Carolinas on Monday after earlier being tracked off the coast of New Jersey, according to researchers.Ironbound, the 12-foot, 4-inch shark weighing nearly 1,000 pounds, made headlines after migrating from the Carolinas up the coast to New Jersey late last month.As of Monday, it appears the great white returned to the Carolinas, according to OCEARCH shark researchers who keep track of sharks’ migratory patterns via a tag tracking system.Researchers believe a white shark mating site is located off the Carolinas, the Boston Herald reported.OCEARCH Chief Scientist Robert Hueter told the outlet last week that Ironbound may have left the site early ahead of the other sharks, adding that is unclear what sparked the migration.Despite Ironbound’s apparent return to southern waters, New Jersey may not have seen the last of the great white. Hueter said that the sharks will usually start migrating to northern waters in mid-to-late May and arrive in those areas beginning in June.Ironbound is considered the "leader of the pack," according to Hueter, who described the apex predator as "formidable" and "not the prettiest animal."Ironbound was first tagged in October 2019 near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

PHILADELPHIA - Police say they are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary that took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel earlier this month.On May 3rd at around 1:20 a.m., police say a man entered the Ritz Carlton Hotel located on South Broad Street. Authorities say the suspect forced open a basement door and went through the loss prevention office and locker room. MORE HEADLINESThe suspect took numerous items and then fled the area, according to police. Police describe the suspect as a man with a thin build, wearing black sweatpants with white stripes down the side and a light colored shirt. AdvertisementAnyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the police. 

PHILADELPHIA - Police say they are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with two separate robberies that both occurred at a South Philadelphia 7-Eleven. On April 27 at around 1:27 a.m., police say two suspects were captured on surveillance video entering the 7-Eleven on South 10th Street. Authorities say the first suspect went behind the counter and demanded the money while threatening the store employees with a hammer. Police in Philadelphia are investigating after multiple people were injured in a shooting in Kensington on Tuesday afternoon.  PHILADELPHIA - Four people, including two teenagers, are in the hospital after a shooting in Kensington late Tuesday morning. The shooting occurred on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue just before noon.Officers responded to the scene and found four people suffering from gunshot wounds. All four were taken to Temple University Hospital.Two of the victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, are in critical condition after both were shot in the upper body. A 16-year-old girl is stable after suffering a graze wound to the arm.

PHILADELPHIA - Three people are dead after a car crashed into a SEPTA station in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, authorities say. Police say a car traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a turnstile, pedestrians and then the Allegheny Avenue SEPTA station.  Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small says the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. when an officer on detail at Kensington Avenue and Allegheny Avenue saw a Honda Pilot traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer heard the vehicle first and believes it was "easily going 100 miles per hour," Small says. Authorities say the car jumped the curb and hit a metal turnstile, hit three pedestrians standing on the pavement and then struck the Allegheny Avenue SEPTA station. Small says the crash was "really gruesome" as one of the victims was decapitated and their body was dismembered and burned due to a car fire that started after the crash. The body of another victim believed to be a female was severely mangled and crushed, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA - A man has died after being shot and killed in a broad daylight shooting in East Germantown on Tuesday, according to police. Authorities say the shooting happened at 10:07 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Police in Philadelphia are trying to identify a suspect wanted in connection with multiple sexual assaults across the city. According to police, the first incident happened on March 15 at 5:00 a.m.Authorities say a 35-year-old woman was walking in the area of Whitaker Avenue and Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia. A man in a black-colored car drove the victim to a remote area, showed a handgun and then sexually assaulted her, police say. Weeks later on April 5 at 5:15 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was leaving a convenience store at 3505 Kensington Avenue when she was approached by a man in a dark gray Dodge Charger with a covered tag, police say. According to authorities, the suspect forced her into his car, drove to the area of 4000 Orchard Street in Frankford and sexually assaulted her before letting her out on Torresdale Avenue. Police say another assault happened on April 21 at 1:00 a.m. in the area of Kensington Avenue and Huntingdon Street in Kensington when a 29-year-old woman was approached by a man in a silver sedan offering a ride, authorities say. The woman accepted and the suspect showed a gun, forced the woman into the back seat and sexually assaulted her in the area of 2600 Kensington Avenue, according to officials. Police say he also stole her iPhone 11 before dropping her off on Broad Street. Authorities are searching for a charcoal gray Dodge Charger four-door sedan made between 2016 and 2020.

A former Alabama jail official on the run with a murder suspect she was accused of helping escape shot and killed herself Monday as authorities caught up with the pair after more than a week of searching, officials said. The man she fled with surrendered.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities are searching for a driver who lead police on a high speed chase Monday night and disappeared into a wooded area near Villanova's campus.The Philadelphia Police Department said the pursuit began when officers tried to initiate a traffic stop near the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Tyson Street around 8:30 p.m. Several police cars followed the black truck as it cruised down the northbound side of Interstate 476 for over an hour, at times accelerating to dangerous speeds. The truck's tires were also damaged during the pursuit, which caused massive sparks to shoot up. AdvertisementThe driver eventually exited the car and disappeared into a wooded area near Villanova's campus. 

PHILADELPHIA - Police are searching for the driver of a white van who police say briefly abducted two young girls and may still be holding a young boy captive. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that the abduction happened near the intersection of 32nd and Diamond streets around 8 p.m.Small said two girls, ages 11 and 12, were walking a dog on 32nd Street when the driver of a white van pulled them into the vehicle. Once inside the vehicle, Small said the both girls claimed to see a young boy in distress with duct tape over his mouth. The girls began hitting the driver in the head, which Small said caused him to open the sliding door electronically and let the girls get out blocks away. The girls both used their cell phone to contact their parents who then contacted police, Small said. The girls said the suspect did not try to assault or duct tape them.AdvertisementSmall said police are "looking into" the girl's claims about the other child inside the van.

She has also been identified through DNA as the mom of a baby girl found in the river in 1999.Jennifer Lynn Matter, 50, of Belvidere Township, was identified through DNA as the mom of the boy who was found in Lake Pepin on Dec.

The pair, who are not related, were said to have been in a "special" relationship.A warrant from one of Casey White’s past arrests describes how he told a woman, "he wanted to kill her and have police kill him." The warrant stemmed from his attempted murder and kidnapping case from December 2015 in Limestone County, Alabama. White allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home one night and fired several shots at the woman, but missed her.

Roger Segal, 49, was found fatally stabbed in his parked car outside a South Philadelphia Wawa. PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police have made an arrest in the death of Roger Segal earlier this year. Segal, 49, died after being stabbed in the parking lot of the Wawa on South Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia on February 14, police say. According to a police source, video surveillance showed Segal entering the store around 2 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Mother's Day in Philadelphia took a violent turn Sunday afternoon into the evening and police are now investigating three separate shootings across the city. Authorities say at least two people are dead and several others were injured in the violent incidents and several families are now feeling the pain of loss. The violence started with a double shooting in Kensington at the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Clearfield Street, according to authorities. Police say a woman, 25, was shot in the head and brought to Temple Hospital, where she is in critical condition. PUYALLUP, Wash. - A man who was reportedly carjacked in Puyallup is now in jail for shooting one of his attackers in the face, police say.Officers were called to the Arco gas station near Meridian and 43rd Ave late Saturday night, around 11:12 p.m. The caller told dispatch he had been attacked, pepper sprayed and carjacked by a group of people.Shortly after, officers were alerted to a hit-and-run crash just three blocks away, near a Michaels store.

PHILADELPHIA - A woman has died after being shot in Burholme on Sunday morning, according to police.
