Temple police investigate shooting near campus, officials say

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - Temple University police are investigating a shooting near Temple University's campus.Officials notified the public through Twitter to use caution near the intersection of North 11th Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue as they investigate the reports of a shooting in that area.

L’Jean McKneely, a police spokesperson, told news outlets the little girl’s grandmother, Roxanne Record, 53, and mother, Kadjah Record, 29, were arrested Friday, each on a charge of first-degree murder.
