Philadelphia police say a gun battle inside a Kensington convenience store killed a 30-year-old man. KENSINGTON - A 30-year-old man is dead after a gun battle inside of a Kensington 24-hour convenience store.The shooting happened on the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue, inside a convenience store where at least six and up to 10 people were inside shopping.

The gun battle broke out early Saturday, around 2 a.m., according to officials. Three men were captured on surveillance video, two of them shooting at another inside the store.

The third man managed to escape, but collapsed about a half a block away.When police found that man on the sidewalk, they rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was.

Vineland Public School buildings closed Thursday, all classes canceled in 'abundance of caution'
VINELAND, N.J. - A New Jersey school district has announced that all classes have been canceled and all of its buildings will be closed Thursday. Vineland Public Schools  made the announcement late Wednesday night and say the move was made in an ‘abundance of caution.’ A specific reason for the closures and cancellations was not immediately known.The closure also includes all of the district’s pre-school.MORE HEADLINES: Officials instructed staff and students to remain home unless otherwise directed, and say there will also be no remote learning. In their announcement, the district added that they would share more information on the closure when it became available.___DOWNLOAD: FOX 29 NEWS APP | FOX 29 WEATHER AUTHORITY APPSUBSCRIBE: Good

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting in Nicetown that left one man dead Thursday morning. The shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. on the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue.Officers responded to the scene and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. A 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
