Kennedy Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m.A FOX 29 news crew was working in the area when a member of our news team was struck by projectiles fired from a passing car.

Our crew members were not physically harmed in the incident.Police responded to the scene and located the projectiles, which were later described as gel-like pellets.MORE HEADLINES: Investigators are combing through surveillance video to gather more information.

While investigating, four more children were found hidden in a back bedroom in the trailer home, police say. Woman shot multiple times in the back in Kensington, police say

PHILADELPHIA - A 28-year-old woman was critically injured after police she was struck several times during a shooting in Kensington Saturday night.Shots were fired on the 700 block of E Thayer Street just before midnight.Police say the woman was shot four times in the back, and transported to a local hospital by private vehicle.

Shooting investigation shut down busy Montgomery County highway for several hours

MONTGOMERY COUNTY - A shooting in Montgomery County prompted a huge police presence, as well as several detours and delays for residents for most of the day Saturday.Dozens of Pennsylvania State Police, as well as officers from surrounding local departments, responded around 4 p.m. to the middle of Route 309.The investigation shut down the highway for several hours, forcing drivers to detour around the huge scene.MORE HEADLINES:Police say the shooting is being investigated as a suicide, but have yet to release any further details regarding the shooting or why the road was closed.The person involved in the shooting has also not been identified.

Teen suspect shot, 2 others sought after robbery sparks triple shooting in Olney: police

PHILADELPHIA - A triple shooting erupted overnight in Philadelphia's Olney section, and police say it all stemmed from a robbery that quickly turned violent.Three people were found struck by gunfire on the 400 block of Fisher Avenue just before midnight Saturday.One victim, a 39-year-old man was treated and released at the scene for a graze wound. A 49-year-old man was shot in the stomach and transported to a local hospital in stable condition.A 17-year-old, who police say is one of three suspects, was also found suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Ammonium nitrate was used in 1995 at an attack on the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. The explosion killed 168 people and injured approximately 850.On April 12, a railcar loaded with 30 tons of the chemical left Cheyenne, Wyoming.
