Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has slammed NHS and care staff who have refused to receive a Covid-19 vaccination. The former Good Morning Britain, 56, took to social media on Wednesday to make clear his views regarding NHS or care home workers who are not receiving Covid-19 vaccines.

As outspoken as ever, Piers tweeted: "NHS and Care Home staff who refuse to be vaccinated need to leave their jobs and do something that requires less reckless selfish disregard for the health & wellbeing of their patients/residents." Piers' criticism comes as it has been reported that jabs will be made compulsory for NHS and care home staff, with staff being given 16 weeks to receive one or face being redeployed or losing their jobs.
