Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan was almost speechless today at Grant Shapps admitted that a number of faults the government made during the pandemic.

The Travel Secretary appeared on Good Morning Britain today for the first time since the boycott earlier this year. During the interview with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, the MP addressed the pay rise - saying that if he was give the money to charity if he was given it.

He also spoke about quarantine being slashed from 14 days to five in time for Christmas. From early December, those arriving in the UK from high-risk countries will be able to leave isolation after five days with a negative test.
