PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are looking for two armed male suspects after a man was killed at his house in Onley early Thursday morning.The 31-year-old man was shot and killed inside his house on the 500 block of Marwood Road just after midnight on Thursday, police say.Police say two suspects opened fire on the victim after knocking on his door.Two family members were also inside the house when shots rang out, however police say neither were injured during the shooting.The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after he was found lying on his living room floor with gunshot wounds, according to police.

NORTH WILDWOOD, N.J. - The City of North Wildwood has terminated its contract with its waste removal company amid threats from the company saying they'd leave trash in the streets, city officials allege. According to a press release from the city, the contract with Gold Medal Environmental New Jersey, Inc. (GME) was terminated. The city says GME is a "subsidiary of the multibillion-dollar private equity firm Kinderhook Industries, headquartered in New York City." According to the city, GME's CEO showed up at the North Wildwood Public Works Building on March 8 insisting that the city pay GME two to three times the agreed upon contract amount or the company would "leave the trash in the streets." According to a legal document sent to GME's leaders, in an email sent on April 25, GME's CEO said: "My message hasn't changed: trash (or recycling or yard waste, etc) will start being left on the streets May 1 (whatever we cannot afford to pick up at current contract prices) if we are not back in good faith negotiations to address this emergency situation as other towns have already, and your offices will choose both where this starts and ends.

According to police, the incident happened at the intersection of Algon Avenue and Knorr Street at 10:35 p.m. Authorities say Luis Velez, 52, was driving a 2008 Honda Accord northbound on Algon Avenue behind a 2022 Ford Econoline. Police also say a 2014 Kia Sorrento was going southbound on Algon Avenue. LOS ANGELES - Authorities Friday said foul play was not suspected at this time in the death of Valentin Broeksmit, the self-described "comically terrible spy" who is believed to have worked with federal authorities investigating the activities of Deutsche Bank and its ties with former President Donald Trump.Broeksmit, 45, was found dead about 7 a.m. Monday on the campus of Woodrow Wilson High School in the 4500 block of Multnomah Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.The Los Angeles County coroner's office has listed the cause of his death as "deferred pending additional investigation."Officers were sent to the school on a "death investigation" call, the LAPD reported."Upon arrival, the officers were directed by school staff to the location of the man, who was later identified as Valentin Broeksmit," police said in a statement released on Friday."Broeksmit was found lying on the ground in a courtyard of the school," police said.

PHILADELPHIA - The Broad Street Run returns to Philadelphia this weekend, and local businesses hope the influx of tourism will help them hit the ground running in a post-pandemic spring. Organizers say 27,000 runners are expected to participate in the 10-mile jaunt through Center City, which is the most in the nation for a run of its length.
