Phillip Schofield has detailed on how the Coronavirus pandemic led to him revaluating his struggles. The This Morning presenter, 59, bravely came out in 2020 admitting that after 27 years of marriage he had realised he was gay.

And the father of two has now shared on how seeing the nation pull together through lockdown after lockdown has made him see that his problems are not bad.

Speaking on how many have had a bad year, the silver fox told Radio Times : "I think what’s important is that you realise that, in the space of a year, just how big other things can be - look what we've all gone through as a nation.
