The number of coronavirus patients discharged from hospitals in Greater Manchester

Some of the NHS trusts run a number of hospitals in Greater Manchester.Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, for example, runs 12 hospitals in the city, including the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Wythenshawe Hospital, North Manchester General, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and the Nightingale North West.The trust discharged 2,200 Covid patients over almost five months - the highest number of all trusts in the region.Elsewhere, the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust discharged 1, 317 patients during the same timeframe, the figures showed.
