Sarah Silverman continues her daily salute of essential workers on fire escape with her assistant
She's been among the many appreciative New Yorkers who regularly stop at 7pm to applaud frontline and essential workers of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. And on Sunday, Sarah Silverman was back out on the fire escape of her apartment building in Manhattan, with friend and personal assistant Annie Segal, banging on pots and pans while hollering out in celebration.Like clockwork, for nearly three weeks time now, the pair have been taking part in the daily recognition of health care providers, supermarket workers, and restaurant delivery workers, among others.
