Kanye West sued for allegedly punching autograph hunter
Kanye West is being sued for assault and battery by an autograph hunter he allegedly punched outside a nightclub.Court documents obtained by TMZ allege that the rapper got into a confrontation with the man outside the Soho House, a members only club in downtown Los Angeles, in January 2022.The man claims that West shouted, “I’m going to make a fucking example of you”, before striking him violently. The documents suggest that the man asked West to apologise, to which the rapper replied, “Apology for what?”, before allegedly hitting the man several more times, “severely injuring him”.The man is suing for assault and battery and says he has also endured emotional distress and is suing for damages. The man’s wife is also suing West for loss of consortium. At the time of the alleged incident, West was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with an altercation, but no charges were filed.Less than a week later, West gave an interview with Hollywood Unlocked about the investigation, in which he stated: “I just finished these two songs, I came from the studio, and this dude, he just had this real attitude, like, ‘’What you gonna do? And see that?’”“Imma just tell you, that blue COVID mask ain’t stop that knockout, you know what I’m saying?”In other Kanye news, it is expected that Ye and Ty Dolla $ign‘s collaborative album ‘Vultures’ will be released at some point this month, after a series of delays and missed release dates.

Kanye has gone too far – neither his ‘genius’ or mental health are excuses
Kanye West is no stranger to controversy might be an understatement, but he may still have caused some shock with his latest Instagram post. The image, since deleted, depicted a photoshopped newspaper bearing the headline ‘Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28.’West’s post is the latest in a long line of threatening statements towards Pete Davidson — who the rapper has taken to calling ‘Skete’ for reasons that make sense only to him — since the Saturday Night Live alumnus began dating West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The couple recently ended their relationship, likely prompting West’s Instagram post, which to him probably felt like a gloating justification of his previous actions.West’s insistence on inserting himself into the private matters of a relationship he has no involvement in (no matter how much he may think he does) is typical of the artist, who treats every interaction as though he is the main character. It’s difficult to watch, not least because the rapper has so much to offer outside of the constant drama and scandals in which he entangles himself. While the general public — myself included —  have previously given West a pass when it comes to his embarrassing behaviour due to his difficult personal circumstances and mental health struggles, this incident may be a bridge too far even for him.Other incidents in West’s months-long campaign against the former couple include the rapper releasing a music video that depicts the kidnapping and assault of Pete Davidson, and sharing private text messages from Kim Kardashian’s phone on social media. While West has previously claimed that he would take accountability for some of his actions against the former couple, including sharing texts, his latest post clearly demonstrates
