Plane crashes in Napa County vineyard; witnesses see small explosion
ANGWIN, Calif. - A single engine plane crashed Friday morning in a Napa County vineyard with three people on board, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and witnesses. A single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza clipped trees while the pilot was trying to execute a missed approach at Angwin Airport-Parrett Field in Angwin, Calif., around 8:40 a.m. said Ian Gregor a spokesman for the FAA. The plane crashed south of the airport and caught fire, he said.
