COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues to pick up steam.This week, 594,770 doses are expected to arrive, according to the health department’s press release — the most scheduled for the month of May.Meanwhile, more than 166,000 Quebecers registered for vaccination appointments on April 30, according to an email from the public health department.“I’m actually very optimistic, very positive about how this is going,” Dr. Don Sheppard, McGill University’s Chair of Immunology, told Global News.As of May 3, the public health department is reporting that 37 per cent of all Quebecers have now received at least one shot.
