Multiple EU countries have suspended the use of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine over suspected blood clots. But following a "rigorous" scientific review of all the available data, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said that the available evidence does not suggest that blood clots in veins (venous thromboembolism) are caused by the vaccine.
