Ozzy Osbourne provided an update on his health during a recent podcast appearance. The 74-year-old rocker announced that he was likely retiring from touring earlier this year amid concerns about his health.

He underwent a life-altering surgery the year prior. While on his family’s The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy let fans know how he was doing and revealed that he was preparing to have a fourth surgery. The injury triggered back problems that he sustained during an ATV accident years prior. The musician confirmed that he was “in a lot of pain” and “a lot of discomfort.” “I’m going for an epidural soon because what they’ve discovered is the neck has been fixed,” he explained, via People. “Below the neck there’s two vertebrae where the bike hit me and disintegrated, there’s nothing left of ’em.” He continued, saying, “In my back, the two discs and the muscles on my shoulders have separated from my skeleton, and that’s why I lean forward as it’s like gravity is bringing my head forward.

I was thinking, ‘I’ve walked like that all my life.’” Ozzy noted that he was looking at getting some additional opinions before moving forward with anything.
