Public Health Scotland Covid data shows record rise in cases and hospital patients spike as ICU numbers drop
Scotland within the last 24 hours.The latest data has been published this afternoon by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland as part of the national COVID-19 daily briefing.Nationally, 275 people are in hospital which is up 40 from yesterday. There are currently 16 people with the disease being treated in ICU.The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has risen by 185 to 21,089.Of the new cases, 74 were from East Ayrshire and 65 were attributed to North Ayrshire.
