On Sunday, 1,087 new cases were recorded and 1,228 on Saturday.It is also the first time in the last six days that the daily case count dipped below 1,000.
However, tests completed were the lowest it’s been in a couple months.According to Tuesday’s provincial report, 343 cases were recorded in Toronto, 186 in Peel Region and 89 in York Region.All other local public health units reported fewer than 50 new cases in the provincial report.
