One more test in lockdown London

Just one more Covid test to go. Lateral flow, rapid antigen. The type the US Food and Drugs Administration panned in a report last week for being ineffective.

The type that Britain has based its Operation Moonshot testing programme on - the one that helps determine the pace of the unlocking and normalisation measures here.

Why one more test? Because I was at the G7 summit last weekend. Or rather, I was at the G7 summit media centre in Falmouth, on the south coast of Cornwall - a whole 47.4km from St Ives, on the north coast of Cornwall, where the actual summit was being held.

It was by far the most socially distanced G7 summit I have ever - well, not attended - but been involved in. Covid gave them the perfect excuse to keep us hacks
