NORTH PHILADELPHIA - A triple shooting in North Philadelphia claims the life of an 18-year-old boy and leaves two others injured.According to officials, the shooting happened Saturday night, around 9 p.m., on the 2300 block of North 11th Street.Responding officers found a 26-year-old female at the location with a gunshot wound to her leg. PHILADELPHIA - A third person has been arrested and charged in connection with chaos that erupted at an unsanctioned car rally in Wildwood. Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Police Department Chief Robert Regalbuto announced the arrest of 18-year-old Zion Diaz of Hammonton, New Jersey, on Wednesday. Officials say on Wednesday morning, detectives executed a search warrant at Diaz' residence and arrested him without incident. According to the Prosecutor's Office, he was charged with 4th-degree riot and released on a summons. Sutherland says Diaz was identified as a person who instructed others at the unsanctioned rally to block intersections, do burnouts and block police cars from responding to emergency calls when chaos erupted in the streets of Wildwood on September 24. After the chaos, there were several reports of car crashes, injuries and damaged storefronts. One crash turned deadly, claiming the lives of 18-year-old Linday Weakland and 34-year-old Timothy Ogden, according to officials. Chaos erupted in Wildwood Crest Saturday night as an unsanctioned car rally took over the streets and, ultimately, killed two people.Police say Gerald J.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities have arrested and charged a man in connection with the shooting that killed one teen and injured four others outside Roxborough High School late last month.Yaaseen Bivins, 21, has been charged with murder, aggravated assaulted, and related offenses in the shooting that left 14-year-old Nicolas Elizalde dead. Bivins arrest comes a more than a week after officials issued an arrest warrant for 16-year-old Dayron Burney-Thorn in connection with the Roxborough High School incident. Burney-Thorn also faces murder and related charges. The mother of the 14-year-old boy killed in the shooting outside Roxborough High School recalled the moment she felt her son pass away in her arms.

PHILADELPHIA - This was no celebratory beer shower!In an unexpected turn of events, a Philadelphia Phillies fan found himself on the other end of a dispute in the stands - covered in beer.Media native Isaac Golub says he was cheering on the Phils during a victorious Game 1 of the NL Division Series in Atlanta on Tuesday when things got heated."He was yelling at me that I was disrespectful, but I was just trying to play it cool," Golub says.Moments later, the Braves fan dumped his beer on the Phillies fan, then threw the cup at him in a moment caught on video.MORE HEADLINES:The irate fan ended up being escorted out of the game by his own wife! "His wife was on our side," Golub explained.The Phillies will take on the Braves in Atlanta again Wednesday afternoon for Games 2 of the series.

The New York State Department of Health has discovered more evidence of polio in NYC wastewater.  Officials noted that 63 of 70 wastewater samples discovered last week were linked to a polio case of a 20-year-old male from Rockland County.The individual has since developed paralysis in his legs, according to the state health department.  Most of the samples were found in Rockland. Still, officials also collected others all over the state, including Orange County, Sullivan County, and Nassau County, and one sample was found in Brooklyn.

Jose Sanchez MERCER COUNTY, N.J. - A music teacher could spend 10 years in prison after being charged in connection to child sex abuse materials, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.Officials determined 58-year-old Jose Sanchez viewed and shared child sex abuse materials after an investigation this month.Sanchez is reportedly a music instructor for children, who teaches private lessons in a studio in West Windsor.MORE HEADLINES:He was arrested, and his electronic devices were seized by detectives on October 7.He is being charged with third-degree possession of child pornography and second-degree file sharing of child pornography.  

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. - A road rage incident could have turned violent after police say a driver pulled a gun in Gloucester Township this past weekend.Police responded to reports of an "erratic" driver near Blackwood Clementon Road and Peters Lane around 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.The victim told police that the driver rolled down his window and pointed a chrome-plated handgun at him.MORE HEADLINES:Kyle Boyce, 34, was quickly located at his home, along with his vehicle.
