(Ahmed Muhammad)OAKLAND, Calif. - When 18-year-old Ahmed Muhammad graduates from Oakland Technical High School next month, he will make history by becoming the school’s first Black male to be named valedictorian.
Muhammad will be recognized with the distinction of having the highest academic rank in his class, finishing his four years at Tech with a cumulative 4.73-grade point average (on track for a 5.0 GPA for his senior year).
