Ayrshire residents for breaching coronavirus rules since the first lockdown in March last year.Figures from Police Scotland highlight that 395 people have been issued with a fixed penalty notice for breaching COVID-19 rules across the county with 29 people being arrested since the first lockdown up until January 13, 2021.Fifteen of those fixed penalty notices were issues under travel regulations.North Ayrshire has received the highest amount of both fines and arrests with 193 people being given a fixed penalty notice and 17 arrested for rule breaks.In South Ayrshire 115 people have been fined with nine arrests made, while in East Ayrshire 87 residents have been handed a penalty with three arrested.In the first week of 2021, eight fixed.
