North Korea to deploy 'nuclear-capable submarine' in chilling missile plan

North Korea is planning to unleash a submarine capable of firing ballistic missiles, according to reports. Rogue dictator Kim Jong-un is reportedly lining up the underwater monster that can fire submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs).

South Korean intelligence authorities have been monitoring the chilling underwater plans. One military source said: "It seems almost ready to be deployed. "We are closely watching when the North will hold a launching ceremony." The submarine will be 3,000 tonnes and capable of carrying three SLBMs, reports Yonhap.

It is reported to be under construction at North Korea's naval base in Sinpo, on the east coast. It comes after Seoul's National Intelligence Service picked up on a string of 2,000 tonne
