NHS Tayside is moving to the next phase of its Covid booster and flu vaccine roll-out.Anyone aged between 60 and 69 and those over 16 with an underlying health condition are being invited for their jabs.Health bosses say they hope to issue an average of 40,000 vaccines a week across the region.Letters are being issued and will begin to arrive over the next week for people in these groups to attend at their local community vaccination centre.Associate Director of Public Health Dr Daniel Chandler said: “So far in Tayside we have delivered more than 136,000 COVID boosters, flu jabs and third doses for people who are severely immunosuppressed.“This is in addition to the 626,000 first and second COVID vaccines given since the beginning of the

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. - Washington Commanders safety Deshazor Everett has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fatal car crash that took the life of his girlfriend Olivia Peters. According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Everett was charged after investigators determined he was driving over 90 mph just before the crash. Authorities say Everett, 29, turned himself into the Louduon County Adult Detention Center Tuesday afternoon. RELATED: Washington Football Team player discharged from hospital after car crash that killed Maryland womanBoth Everett and Peters were traveling north on Gum Spring Road near Ticonderoga Road in a 2010 Nissan GT-R the night of the crash in December 2021. Loudoun County Sherrif's Office said the vehicle the couple was in veered off the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over.  Peters was taken to StoneSprings Hospital where she died from her injuries. Everett was taken to Reston Hospital Center and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Everett posted a $10,000 secured bond and has been released from custody.
