A NHS nurse who posted social media rants spreading conspiracy theories on coronavirus has been sacked. Tracey McCallum, from Darvel, Ayrshire, was suspended by NHS24 for spouting her own alternative “research” online – branding the corona outbreak a “scamdemic”.

Now she has told a podcast host that she has turned her back on her career of more than 20 years to promote her extremist views.
