TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is expected to announce tighter restrictions on gatherings amid an ongoing surge of coronavirus cases across the country, sources tell FOX 29.The Democratic governor is also likely to halt indoor youth and high school sports across the state during a coronavirus response briefing on Monday.The number of people allowed to gather outdoors is expected to be further limited to a maximum of 25 people.
That's down from a maximum of 150 people.The ban on indoor sports will take effect later this week, however, outdoor sports will be able to resume.
