A mum has warned parents to be aware of "terrifying" Kawasaki disease which left her daughter fighting for her life. Alice Horler's daughter, Bonnie Crocker, spent two weeks in isolation at the Royal United Hospital in Bath following her diagnosis last year.
She believes Bonnie's case of the rare inflammatory illness is one of the first in the UK linked to the coronavirus pandemic, reports Somerset Live.
Bonnie, now three, has made a full recovery from the disease which still isn't fully understood. Scores of UK and US children have been affected by Kawasaki.
