A mum-of-two has had both her legs amputated after being struck down with a rare infection. Cher Little started to feel ill with a high temperature, headaches and a fever on October 6, 2020.
The 46-year-old was booked in for a Covid test, Wales Online reported. But the following day a rash started to develop on her face.
A member of Cher's family immediately called an ambulance which whisked her to hospital where medics diagnosed her with the life-threatening infection meningococcal septicaemia.
