Morgan Wallen is back on tour after taking more than a week off due to “doctor-ordered vocal rest.” The 29-year-old country singer caused a lot of controversy when he canceled his April 23 concert in Mississippi just minutes before he was supposed to go on stage.
All three of Morgan‘s opening acts had performed and fans had been waiting inside the venue for three hours for the main act to appear on stage.
A message appeared on the stadium’s screens saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight.
Therefore, tonight’s show has been canceled. Please make your way safely to the stadium exits. Refunds for tonight’s event will be available at point of purchase.” Fans were rightfully upset about spending money on a night out and waiting hours for Morgan to appear on stage, but rumors started swirling about what led to the cancellation, including allegations that he partied too hard the night before.
