Mental health groups ask for lockdown frustrations to be shared

Perthshire organisation which looks out for men’s mental wellbeing is urging those struggling with lockdown to get in touch.

The pressures on the population as COVID restrictions tighten, debt builds for many and interpersonal interactions are either too much or too little, means having someone to talk to has never been more important.Alex McClintock co-founded Andy’s Man Club (AMC) Perth and he has gone on to become a trustee for the wider organisation.He used to be a prison officer but, after his job disappeared, he followed his passion for helping others and made working in the community his new full-time calling.Alex told the PA that he is now the project development and community support officer with Anchor House’s day centre The Neuk.
