Matthew Broderick has tested positive for COVID-19. According to Deadline, the 60-year-old actor will miss tonight’s performance of Plaza Suite, which he currently stars in alongside real life wife, Sarah Jessica Parker. “Everyone wishes [Broderick] a speedy recovery,” a spokesperson for the production said in a statement about Matthew‘s diagnosis, which was confirmed with a second test. Sarah tested negative for the virus.

Plaza Suite is a revival of Neil Simon’s classic stage show. It follows three distinct stories told in three acts — the only link is that they unfold in the same capacious room of the Plaza Hotel.

While Plaza Suite‘s performance tonight has not been cancelled, this other Broadway play was over the weekend because of a positive star.
