Matt Hancock has refused to resign after the High Court ruled that the Government unlawfully failed to publish details of billions of pounds of coronavirus-related contracts.
The Health Secretary “breached his legal obligation” to publish details of the contract within 30 days in “a substantial number of cases," a judge said on Friday.
The Good Law Project mounted a legal challenge against the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) for its "wholesale failure" to disclose details of contracts during the pandemic.
Labour urged Mr Hancock to deal with allegations of "cronyism" by publishing all the details of outstanding contracts and winding down emergency procurement powers.
