Speaking to reporters on Monday, government house leader Mark Holland said he is “incredibly frustrated” to have to be “wasting the House’s time” when it comes to debating the proper rules and procedures to allow MPs to gather and do their work in the ongoing pandemic.
All MPs must be vaccinated against COVID-19 if they want to sit in person in the House of Commons, the Board of Internal Economy ruled last month, unless they have a valid medical exemption that has been shown to House administration.
